Main Responsibilities
 
You must be a Registered Energy Advisor who conducts comprehensive, top of the line energy assessments in accordance with NRCan, Provincial and utility company standards. You will have the opportunity to work in the existing and new home industry.
 
You’ll be responsible for your own marketing and sales to build long-term relationships. As well, scheduling your leads and creating your own calendar. You will also be responsible for uploading pertinent documents and photos to the internal database and program portals.
 
Your communication skills must be top-grade quality, allowing you to communicate effectively with homeowners to educate them on potential rebates through local and federal programs. You are also your contractors number one point of contact for all inquiries and education.
 
You must be prompt, thorough and knowledgeable regarding the existing market for Energy Assessments and Rebates.
 
A growth-mindset is a must, and we will only accept individuals who are constantly hungry to learn and develop. You are willing to put in the work that it takes to succeed.
 
You’ll be expected to work independently, with daily travel, to a variety of locations within the region, to perform a full range of evaluation activities including preparing time‐sensitive reports.
 
 
Who we are seeking
 
  • Registered NRCan Energy Advisors (EnerGuide for existing homes)
  • Must have passed the NRCan Foundation Level and Energy Advisor exams, and completed the probationary files required for the certification
  • EnerGuide for new homes, ENERGYSTAR, Net Zero and Built Green certifications for New Home Construction are a nice-to-have
  • Analytical, problem solving and decision making skills
  • Must be physically fit (Such as to climb ladders, enter attics, access crawl spaces and stand for long periods of time)
  • Proven results on delivery of performance objectives and quality target
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self driven (no need to motivate you to work diligently every day)
  • Excellent time management

Salary: $90,000.00-$120,000.00 per year

Who We Look For

We are seeking highly motivated and knowledgeable Energy Advisors to join our team. As an Energy Advisor, you will be responsible for providing expert advice to clients on energy efficiency, renewable energy, and sustainability practices. You will work closely with clients to assess their energy usage, identify opportunities for improvement, and recommend solutions to help them reduce their carbon footprint.

You must be a Registered Energy Advisor who performs thorough, high-quality energy assessments in accordance with NRCan, provincial, and utility company standards. You can work in both the current and new home industries.

You’ll be in charge of your marketing and sales in order to cultivate long-term partnerships. You should also schedule your prospects and create your calendar.

Your communication skills must be of the highest caliber, enabling you to effectively interact with homeowners and contractors, as you will be their primary point of contact.

You must be punctual, thorough, and informed about the current market for Energy Assessments and Rebates.

A growth mindset is required; we will only accept people who are constantly eager to learn and progress. You are willing to put in the effort required to achieve.

You will be expected to work autonomously and travel to various regional locations daily to perform a full range of evaluation activities, including preparing time-sensitive reports.
